At The Smoke Laboratory, we understand that prompt, secure, and private delivery is essential. We meticulously pack every order to ensure your scientific glassware, hardware, and premium herbal smoking blends arrive in flawless condition.

Please read our shipping guidelines below to understand our transit times, packaging standards, and mandatory legal delivery requirements.

 

 

1. Shipping Rates & Methods

We keep our shipping rates straightforward and transparent across the entire UK market.

  • Standard Tracked Delivery: £3.99 flat rate on orders under £75.

  • Free Tracked Delivery: FREE on all orders over £75.

  • Courier Service: We partner with trusted UK networks—primarily Royal Mail Tracked and DPD—to ensure your package is handled safely from our facility to your doorstep.

  • Dispatch Times: Orders placed before 1:00 PM Monday through Friday are dispatched within 24–48 hours. Orders placed over the weekend or on UK bank holidays will be processed the next business day.

 

 

2. 100% Discreet, Secure Packaging

Your privacy is our utmost priority. We guarantee that your order will be delivered with absolute discretion.

  • Plain Outer Boxes: All orders are shipped in sturdy, plain brown cardboard boxes or generic weatherproof mailer bags.

  • No External Branding: There are absolutely no logos, mention of "The Smoke Laboratory," or references to smoking, herbal blends, or hardware on the outside of the package.

  • Discreet Return Address: The return shipping label on the package will display a minimized corporate acronym or fulfillment address, keeping the contents completely private from couriers, neighbors, or housemates.

 

 

3. Legal Requirement: Age Verification Upon Delivery

Under the UK Children and Families Act 2014, it is a criminal offense to deliver smoking accessories or adult lifestyle hardware to individuals under the age of 18.

  • Signature Required: To comply with statutory laws, all packages sent by The Smoke Laboratory are dispatched via an Age-Verified Delivery Service.

  • ID Check: The delivery courier is legally mandated to request official government-issued photo identification (such as a valid UK driving license or passport) if the recipient appears to be under the age of 25 (Challenge 25 policy).

  • Failed Deliveries: If a valid adult is not present to accept and verify their age upon delivery, the courier will not leave the package. The parcel will be returned to the local depot, and a re-delivery card will be left.

 

 

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your parcel is scanned into the courier network at our laboratory facility, an automated shipping confirmation email will be sent to the address provided at checkout. This email will contain your unique tracking number and a direct link to track your shipment’s progress in real-time.

 

 

5. Domestic Shipping Restrictions (UK Only)

Due to the complex and shifting global regulations surrounding cannabinoid-infused goods and adult smoking lifestyle hardware, The Smoke Laboratory ships exclusively to addresses within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).

  • We strictly do not ship to international addresses, PO Boxes, or British Forces Post Office (BFPO) addresses.

  • Any international orders placed through the website will be automatically canceled and refunded.

 

 

6. Missing or Lost Packages

If your tracking information states that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact our support team at thesmokelab@outlook.com within 48 hours. Before contacting us, please check with household members, neighbors, or any safe places designated in your local courier delivery preferences.
