Refund Policy  for the smoker laboratory

Thank you for shopping at The Smoke Laboratory. We take immense pride in the quality, craftsmanship, and clinical standards of our lifestyle hardware and premium herbal smoking blends.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Our return and refund procedures are structured in strict compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

 

 

1. 14-Day Statutory Cancellation Period (Unused Items Only)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order and request a return within 14 days of receiving your goods, subject to the strict hygiene exemptions outlined in Section 2.

To be eligible for a return under this statutory period, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be completely unused, unwashed, and in the exact condition that you received it.

  • The item must be in its original, unaltered, and undamaged packaging.

  • For Herbal Smoking Blends: The tamper-evident seal, pouch, or vial must be entirely unbroken and unopened.

  • You must possess the receipt, order number, or proof of purchase.

 

 

2. Strict Hygiene & Safety Exemptions (Non-Returnable Items)

Due to the nature of our product catalog, and in accordance with UK health, safety, and hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for any product that has been used, opened, or handled.

The following items are strictly exempt from returns and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • ❌ Any glass water pipes, beakers, bongs, pipes, or vaporizers that have been used, filled with water, or exposed to herbal material.

  • ❌ Any herb grinders or ashtrays that show signs of usage, residue, or handling.

  • ❌ Any herbal smoking blends, botanical mixes, or storage tubs where the original vacuum seal, shrink-wrap, or packaging has been opened, broken, or tampered with.

Note: Every returned piece of hardware undergoes a rigorous inspection at our laboratory facility. If our team detects any biological residue, herbal material, or signs of usage, the return will be rejected, no refund will be issued, and the item will be destroyed for health and safety purposes.

 

 

3. How to Initiate a Return

If your item is unused and meets the criteria in Section 1, please follow these steps to return it:

  1. Contact our customer service team at thesmokelab@outlook.com within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the item in its original, sealed packaging.

  2. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address.

  3. Securely pack the item to prevent transit damage. You will be responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

 

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We meticulously inspect and pack all items in heavy-duty, discreet packaging before dispatch. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the incorrect product, you are fully protected under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Reporting Timeframe: You must report any transit damage or defects within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Required Evidence: Please email [Insert Business Email] immediately with your order number and clear, high-resolution photographs of the damaged product and the shipping box it arrived in.

  • Resolution: Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement to be dispatched immediately at no additional cost to you, or issue a full refund including your original shipping fees.

 

 

5. Refunds Processing

Once your return is received and inspected by our laboratory team, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item and confirm whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed immediately.

  • Timeline: The funds will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your high-risk merchant account processor or bank.

  • Original Shipping Fees: Standard outbound shipping costs paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the item arrived defective.
